This forced the local population of moths to flee the island as well. It is revealed that after the escape of the Zoombinis, the Bloats remained to exploit all of the isle's natural resources. The game begins with a recap of the events of the first game, with the Zoombinis being forced to leave Zoombini Isle after it was overtaken by the Bloats.
